What’s in a name?

Why the name “Lighthouse” is important to us:
One of the major landmarks in Wollongong is the Lighthouse and we felt this was the perfect fit for our brand as it represents both our local upbringing as well as our philosophy for looking out for our clients.

Why did we join together?

Combining Jye’s 18+ years as an experienced home loan specialist and Greg’s 15+ years as a successful owner-operated mortgage broker we felt we could better help our local community and clients by joining forces and creating our own mortgage broking company, Lighthouse Home Loans.

At Lighthouse Home Loans we make the complicated seem simple and focus on providing jargon free solutions. We have both always worked in environments where we put customers before profits and we pride ourselves on continuing this into our own business, with the philosophy of making clients for life and not just as a transaction.

We are both so passionate about our local community and the financial industry that this combined with a panel of over 30 lenders to choose from you can be assured that you will receive the best possible service and the best possible loan for you.

Jye is an experienced home loan specialist with over 20 years experience in the finance and banking industry including working at some of the leading financial institutes in a variety of different roles.

Jye holds a current Diploma of Mortgage Broking and continues to ensure that he is kept up to date with lenders products and the industry and generaly regularly attending seminars and training courses and adhering to continual professional development.

Accredited with over 30 different lenders, all with different products and services, Jye is able to ensure that your financial needs and requirements and met with the best possible product, offering you the best chance to meet your financial goals.

Purchasing or selling property is one of the most stressful times in a person’s life. With his wealth of experience and knowledge, Jye is able to assist in making this process as stress free as possible by working closely with real estate agents, solicitors and conveyancers, and with guiding you through the process.

Away from finance, Jye is an active member of the local community with involvement in a variety of different sporting clubs. He enjoys spending time with his family, following most sports and competing in the odd triathlon or running event.

With over 15 years as a successful owner-operated mortgage broker, Greg looks forward to working with clients to achieve their goals.

Greg acquired his Diploma in Finance and Broking Management, and is an Accredited Mortgage Consultant. He is a member of both the Mortgage and Finance Association of Australia and the Credit Ombudsman Service. He is also a Justice of the Peace, and takes each of his commitments to the community both seriously and with great pride.

“As a mortgage Broker that services the financial needs of my clients, I hold values such as commitment, honesty and integrity at the forefront of my business. I treat clientele like I would family, and work hard to provide a familiar and uncomplicated service.
